Neither do I. They are more of a burden than anything.

I feel like I'm babysitting my companions.

Babysitting is an appropriate term.

Also, theoretically, you level slower with followers since they do damage and try to kill people. The only thing I think they are good for is carrying capacity. These companions don't seem anywhere near as useful as the companions in New Vegas.

It really depends on the character. Sometimes I grow attached to a follower and drag them around, sometimes I use them as tanks, and sometimes I just don't use them at all.

The companions in New Vegas can actually just do the killing for you. In comparison to Skyrim, it's just disappointing. :sadvaultboy:

I also do not like having a companion. It feels for me like I'm a ship in the middle of the Atlantic and they're the anchor... Plus, I'm playing as a stealthy warrior with bows and swords, so they always get noticed and ruin the whole operation.

I kinda liked the FO3 followers, all 8 of them felt unique, unlike the copy and paste skyrim ones

Atleast followers try to follow you thralls on the other hand...

The followers in FO3 and FNV can actually be of some use. In Skyrim they mostly get in the way and get themselves killed.
