Hi All

I installed Rage today and have seen reading some of the issues people are having just trying to play the game . For me the game only runs for about 1-2 minutes after the introduction before crashing
I have XP sp3 and my video card is ASUS Radeon 5870 ,I understand there are major compatibility problems with AMD and Rage but before I stop playing and wait for the game to be fixed with AMD I want to make sure I have loaded every possible patch
I have done the following

Loaded the latest Video Driver for my card
Allowed Steam to update the game
Installed the AMD Catalyst? 11.10 Version 2 Preview Driver

On these forums it mentions a PC patch ,I don't know if this has been loaded by Steam ? How would I check this and where would I find this patch if these needs to be installed manually

Steam downloads the latest game files/patches automatically.

Everyone is waiting for more updates from AMD and id software to fix the bugs that everyone is experiencing.
