I was watching a walkthrough of which i will not name. Anyway, about 7 hours into the game, the player went back to the watchtower outside of Whiterun where he killed the first dragon. It was no longer there, thus confirming that dragon bodies do not stay in the game forever.

I imagine they wouldn't what if you killed one in the middle of a town? Then it would just sit there forever that svcks.

He returns to that place in a later video and it's there, he just looked in the wrong place.

I've seen otherwise from someone 5-6 hours into the game... the body had actually moved a bit... but was still there.

I would imagine the despawn in crucial areas such as towns ( if you can even fight them in towns, dunno yet ) but in the wild they remain, there isn't an unlimited number of dragons you know. As far as i can tell

Since Mangg has been named... is it just me or is this guy the absolute worst commentator in the history of the Let's Play?

He openly, plainly states that he's not into lore, side quests, story, dialogue, stealth, or magic. In a game built on exploration, customization, and immersion, he chooses only the most dull character options perks, equipment, and combat styles (he's a Nord with straight two-handed and heavy armor skills and equipment, nothing else). Occasionally he shoots a bow if he really has to, but - apparently - not when fighting a flying dragon that won't land for him.

The guy doesn't even loot items that are not weapons or health potions. I'm not even kidding. I think I saw him loot a potion of cure disease once, on accident. Then he skips over several others to pick up weapons and health potions. He won't loot stamina potions, soul gems; nothing. He misses everything, NEVER saves and so ends up backtracking constantly, he's truly awful at the game, and he will not stop rambling about how cool his character is.

It drives me a little bit insane. Why play a game full of character and playstyle options, side-quests, dungeons, and exploration opportunities if you don't care about anything but straight-up melee combat? I mean, he's not even interested in SEEING different enemies, treasures, etc. Blarg.

I have to say yes and no. Sometimes I'm like WTH, then other times he makes me laugh. Not because he's that funny, but because what he is doing is so bad.

He's horrible at the game... but entertaining with how bad he is.
Also, he's all we got, so i'll take it over nothing.

No one said you HAD to watch his videos. Also, don't criticize one for playing a game however they want to play it.

I absolutely love his commentary...he's hilarious. Everything from the way he says BA to him calling Lydia, Karl...he just cracks me up.

Also there'sa bug/glitch where if you try to reanimate a dragon the bones glitch out and go flying like as if shot from a catapult or something. Looks funny.

When I first started watching I thought "oh, no. Not THAT kind of player."

It was annoying for awhile, but then it became entertaining somehow. The fact his playstyle is completely different from mine allows me to watch the footage without spoiling my own experience. I skip the main storyline bits, dialogues, and just watch him exploring and being a dork. If he took everything seriously like I do, it'd probably be too much for me to watch. I stopped at video 8 though, already seen enough to be sure I'll love it, now it's wait until friday.

Funny and shows how much perception varies from one person to another.

I adored Mangg so much I spent the whole day watching all 15 videos, and laughed at his jokes all the time. I LOVED him. I would hire him. His lets play was great, and the fact he glossed over some items was a perfect dislay, for me, of how there's no 'right' way to play an Elders Scroll game.

The only thing I didnt like in his lets play is how easy the game seemed to be. I hope he was on Easy.
