Console Code For Resetting Sections of Quests

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 9:18 pm

So I'm ready to snap my keyboard in half over this stupid terminal isolating virus quest with Scribe Ibsen, it's obviously bugged to hell and impossible to finish on my save file. I have partitioned all of the computer but now two of my partitions have "check partition" and "access database" or whatever the other option is, but nothing is working! I've done this 15 times now and I'm ready to murder someone!

Is there a console command for resetting quests or a way to auto finish a part of a quest? This is completely screwing up the way I want to finish the game.

I have this same problem. If anyone has the console command, I would greatly appreciate it. I have been looking around trying to find this for quite a while.

there are console commands to do that in fallout 3 but they don't work in new vegas for some reason, at least they didn't work for me, they may have changed them, i imagine of they do exist they will be put on the wiki page.

I have a better solution.

player.forceav science 70

Talk to him to solve it, then do player.forceav science whatevertheheckitwasbefore.
Boom, easily done, no headaches.

I've been monkeying around with the console commands a lot, and they do work, but I'm not sure to what extent; the resets are a little weird.
