Console Commands and Dawnguard

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 2:46 am

Hi, all. Whether you loved or hated Dawnguard, many of us agree that it could use some work. That said, by using the console commands on PC, one can make some (albeit minor) changes to Skyrim itself. For example, you can:

1. Make a few changes to the bases (add trees, a smelter, etc.)
2. Make guards slightly tougher for vampire attacks
3. Give access to crossbow/vampire upgrades

Will anybody else be trying this? And if so, what will you guys change? What codes might you use?

Since most of us are Xbox owners in this forum right now I doubt you'll get a large response since we cant use console commands. But if I did own the PC version then yes I would do that.

Im not sure about the making guards tougher one, and where would you put a smelter?

One thing I MIGHT do is make more aetherius equipment for ' display purposes only'.

That's rather boring. Besides, Castle Volkihar is GIGANTIC. And considering you can get rid of, and add, trees, rugs, banners, and all other manner of objects, why not? The forts could actually turn into a viable home!
