Conspiracy Theory: DLC hinted in teaser trailer

Post » Mon Dec 24, 2012 10:39 pm

Here is the text:

You should have acted. They're already here.
The Elder scrolls told of their return.
Their defeat was merely a delay.
From the time after Oblivion opened.
When the sons of Skyrim would spill their own blood.
But no one wanted to believe. Believe they even existed.
And when the truth finally dawns, it dawns in fire.
But there is one they fear.
In their tongue, he is Dovahkiin - Dragonborn!

Dawnguard
We can see Dawn mentioned twice in the seventh line.

Dragonborn
The last word in the last line.

Oblivion is mentioned and DLC has sent us to both the Soul Cairn and Apocrytha.

This is what I got out of it, what crazy predictions can YOU make out of this?

"Their defeat was merely a delay."
The Falmer, Dwemer, or both will return.

Actually these lines all apply:

"But no one wanted to believe. Believe they even existed."
The common folk don't even know about Dwemer or Falmer.

"You should have acted. They're already here."
Falmer in Skyrim dungeons.

"The Elder scrolls told of their return."
The Elder Scrolls predict EVERYTHING so this is super vague =P.

Delay, on the second line - clearly hints at the delay of DLC for PC and PS3.

The Falmer, Dwemer, or both will return.
Or the Thalmor.

The Falmer, Dwemer, or both will return.
That makes a little more sense than mine.

There's fire.Maybe a DLC where we burn ourselves alive?Skyrim is also there too.Maybe we visit Skyrim in a future DLC.

Perhaps there's going to be a DLC where we burn Skyrim. There's also Elder Scrolls. So we might use the Elder Scrolls to burn Skyrim. We already used the Elder Scrolls to find a way to end the tyranny of the sun.

There should be a DLC where we find some Elder Scrolls to find out a prophecy where we burn Skyrim.

The only obscure line is the first one "You should have acted. They're already here". Otherwise, those lines pretty much sums up the prophesy concerning the return of the Dragons and the last Dragonborn who will stop them.

I simply don't see any other "clues" about additional content beyond that.

BTW: the next DLC will include Weremudcrabs and flying goat mounts.
