Constant CTDs and no Idea why : V

Been trying to sort out some annoyingly persistant ctd's that are really making me almost want to stop playing the game lol! I know they have certainly kept me from tinkering or modding/ tinkering with modding any further. I suppose I'm really just curious now as to whether or not anyone has any kind of idea as to what might be causing my crashes I've tried the group disable but the crashes are so sporradic there really isn't any way to tell whether disabling one group does anything at all. First impression: last I heard Crimson Tide had some problems. I remember because I was going to get it but read about a problem somewhere. You also might want to post about the steps you've already take to isolate the problem mod. You might also want to try mod cleaning. Prior to cleaning I could barely go 15mins without a ctd. Now I can play for hours without one

Are you using a old save file with a bunch of new mods/missing mods? I just came back after a few months break.. re-installedSkyrim/mods with an old save file and would get constant CTD. Starting a new save from new fixed it -_-

New old, doesn't matter. In fact the tutorial sometimes won't even make it without crashing =p. Crimson tide huh? Honestly I've tried everything I know from Oblivion and Morrowind modding. I obviously use wrye bash and I have tried replacing common ctd causing mods, replacing ones that even have a chance of conflicting or causing crashes, etc. No avail I'm afraid. To further elaborate I've tried cutting out texture packs etc. to try to lessen this trainwreck of a game's ( only optimization wise of course) and keep things from getting nasty, though I run it off a 6gbs SSD with a decent rig so I'm really not sure why I even have the framerates I do (well no not really ENB hits framerates like a nightmare, but it sure looks good)

Get TES5Edit and clean all your mods. I refer you to http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1419201-relz-tes5edit/. Especially clean your DLC files, Update.esm and run BOSS to sort your load order if you don't already.

Frequent crashes to desktop usually point to a defective meshe. So you you remember having any mods with meshes installed? Try deinstalling them, do a clean save, and see if removing the culprit mod fixes your problem.

You are using both PISE and ASIS, since ASIS is supposedly the newer version of PISE i would assume that would cause conflicts. Also I see problem with using the skyrim monster mod and skyTEST along with ASIS+PISE without putting these mods into the ASIS exclusion list. Maybe this causes problems, but that of cource is my opinion :tongue:
