Hi, I didn't put this into the organised list of broken quests thread as I don't think its a problem with the quest as such...

During 'The Taste Of Death' (Daedric) quest, I have to go into Reachcliff Cave to clear it of Draugr. Every single time I try to enter the cave the game crashes on the load screen.

I have tried clearing the Xbox cache and also loading the saved game (via the cloud) on a separate console with a different copy of the game. Neither has worked the crash occurs the same.

Any help or advice would be appreciated as without entry to Reachcliff Cave I cannot finish the Daedric quest and obtain the artifact, or have Eola as a follower. Thanks.

I believe I have the same problem but i'm literally stuck in a cave because it crashes the loading screen on the only two possible doors I can go through.
just to check if this is the same glitch, does your loading screen just about freeze when your Level bar in the top right of the screen is half way lit?

and i'm still not sure if this is caused by the size of the savr File, mine's 21MB.
hope Bethesda fixes this soon.

Ordun That happens to me also anytime try to enter large areas like dragonsreach, Blue Palace, BlackReach as well as some caves and forts, as it freezes on the loadin g screen. My save file is also 21MB, I don't know if thats the cause, If it is it is freaking ridiculous. I also have the problem where the game freezes randomly without warning in the outside world.


I really believe that patch 1.3 is the cause of this, how its causes it I do not know.

It might be a coincidence on the save file guys, mine is only 14MB at this point. Either way it sounds like the same issue.

Ordun, with regards to the timing of the freeze - it most commonly freezes with the level bar part or halfway lit, although I have seen it continue to load after the bar is fully lit only to crash a second or two later. It sounds like your crash is particularly bad, being trapped inside a cave and not outside one like mine.

No I had this on Version 1.2 as well, hoping Version 1.3 would fix it but it didn't.
I hope this get's fixed on Version 1.4 because I would really like to play on my Main character again o.o
