Constructive criticism from a big Crysis fan

u killed it

im not a pro gamer but i am an enthusiast with fairly mainstream tastes, high standards and a lot of knowledge. i really should be a tester ( i can code etc) any ways im just saying this in the hopes that u will give credence to this post and listen to me :p

this is why crysis 2 < crysis

u ruined the suit menu. 2 real modes and the rest is binoculars and customization menus...
    cant grab people
    press F for autokill.
    cant jump as high
lack of strength mode seems to mean no punching down walls, no throwing stuff really hard and cant punch people flying(?)
lack of speed mode also means we miss out on some sandboxy fun
NYC is kinda cool, but its been soooooo done, especially for disasters. its getting pretty tired. this is kinda like prototype as an FPS. also the scenery becomes boring exceptionally quickly in NYC... its all the same really. the landscapes and scenery in the original were epic and, i think, largely contributed to its success
the feel of the game is a LOT more linear. people always prefer to be able to go and do what they want. personally i dont really like games that force me to do things.. like im just a puppet and the game is my puppeteer
the AI is weird and lame
constant "press this for that" prompts are annoying and kill immersion a bit
    no first person driving(?)
too enclosed all the time, im yet to find a nice, open, free environment

not to be entirely downer, though...
the sky and sun effects are very nice, the water too though inferior to the original. well really all the graphics are nice. feel a bit 'cheaper' than the original tho
the mw2 style auto climb is a good addition as well as look-round
    the variable jump height too
    blood fx
    aliens look pretty cool
    sound fx are epic
oh and nanovision. maybe change the name tho, sounds like those teddy bears with cameras in u use to make sure the babysitter isnt abusing ur children....

i cant think of anything else right now.
i think itd be safe to say, the main problem is too much deviation from the original. u tried too hard to top it and ended up making it kinda worse. crysis was clearly a winning formula, didnt need THIS much changing imo.
i do the same thing quite often when making music :p

please for C3, return to the original formula.
a large, open environment with beautiful scenery, lots of space to roam free, more forests and plant related cover and more freedom to play in the style desired and in a functional sense to have more choice of what to do
