Well i recently finished the Diplomatic Immunity Quest.. talked to Delphine and got all my gear back, the quest "A Cornered Rat" did not start in my quest log and it gives me no option with Delphine about the quest. I talked to Brynwolf in Riften, and did his quest and still nothing came up about Esbern, and tried to talk to every bartender in Riften, even the one in Thieves Guild and still nothing. At this point i do not know what to do to finish the main quest line.... i tried everything. Do i start over or just wait and see if the patch fixes this? REPLY ASAP!

This needs to be bumped. Ran into the same issue last night as well.
