my costume architecture

so i finally got my costume architecture in to the creation kit, i didn't import such a complex mesh just a small box to test it all out.
so now i'm a little confused, I place my box in the game world but my character just runs straight through it... how to i make him collide with my object? i heard some people mention that i need collisions, but how do i do that?

Read through this http://www.darkcreations.org/forums/topic/1920-exporting-static-meshes-for-skyrim-from-blender/, it has good info on collision.

Yes, chunkmerge works fine for custom meshes ...

for very simple objects you can use the CKs collision primtives (but way more work)
