Post » Wed May 09, 2012 12:15 pm

Hello so Skyrim is here I decided format after having issues. I will list my parts the best I can. I'm pretty pathetic at OC the only way I did my old PC a Q6600 was because I saw screenshots of a bios settings that were like 95% match to my PC and yeah.. Pathetic I know.

Anyways here is all the info:

- XFX 850W Black Edition Single Rail
- ASUS Sabertooth P67 P67 LGA1155 DDR3 2PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 1PCI Sandy Bridge B3 Motherboard
- Coolit Systems Eco CPU Water Cooling System
- Intel Core i7 2600K Quad Core Unlocked Hyperthreading Processor LGA1155 3.4GHZ Sandy Bridge 8MB
2 * G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL 8GB 2X4GB DDR3-1600 CL9-9-9-24 Memory (16 gigs total)
- 2 * XFX Radeon HD 6950

Little worried the Ram might be an issue if I recalled a lot ram could cause problems not sure I do use a lot of it I do a lot of video rendering for my Minecraft server I also do a lot of testing and usually allocate 4gigs of ram per MC Instance I run and yes I run my then 2 hehe.

I hope On this wonderful 11-11-11 I could get the gift of a clean easy OC <3

I nearly have your system, except a worse MoBo and Nvidia 570 SLI. Apart from the automatic overclocking of your CPU, I can tell ya you will not need to OC for a maxed out Skyrim experience... So don't worry or mess around I'd suggest

TBH I found that Skyrim lags a bit with my system. I mean I expect to get at least 80 FPS and I get like 30-40. From the Benchmark reviews bring my CPU up to like 4.2 - 4.4GHZ would really bring up the fps.

I'm running similar with my 2600k overclocked to 4.8, you just need to find a guide. I found a nice guide for my p8p67 deluxe board with 2600k. just have to search and youll get some extra fps!

Sitting at a stable clock I only went 7 hours since I only went to sleep for 7 hours but she went well. Got her at 4.4Ghz and I feel that is good enough.
