- Scaling leveling system. A level should not be as easy to get in the 90's as in the 20's.
-More recipes for food, unlockable recipes for food. Seemed obvious, as you could find recipes in New Vegas. Surprised there arent any.
-A magic system instead of a generic system. The one series that is renowned for its in-depth, customisable and endlessly varied magic and they reduce it to plasmids. Underpowered plasmids.
-A decent quest log. Havent seen one this bad since Daggerfall.
-Racial diversity. This is TES not Conan. Vvardenfell had more racial diversity and that was only open to outside colonisation for a few hundred years.
-More diversity in marriage. I dont want to marry a Nord.
-Better written quests. Dont really have to explain this one.
All in all the game seems horribly rushed and unfinished. A lot of good features cut, a lot of logically expected features not in or poorly balanced.
This could really have been the game to end all games, and it does offer some amazingly fantastic moments.
But do they weigh up against all that is lacking or oversimplified?
If it had had a Morrowind quality story, yes.
As even less actual story is given as in Oblivion, no.
