After trying many things I soon learned it wasn't possible for me to play Skyrim in full screen because it was simply bugged...BUT.... I remembered a trick I learned on some random forum when I was searching for a fix for the bugged Witcher 2 game. I simply created a new account for my computer, logged onto it, booted the game up and it worked. If anyone is having problems maybe you should try it, it worked for me.
