So, when you have the choice of going with Ralof or Hadvar, could you just... Run off and escape on your own? Or would the dragon just roast you?

If this was possible, how would you continue the main quest later on?

To escape the dragon, you have to enter the keep. There are two doors to the keep. One is for each choice.

You can not escape on your own.

I wonder if this early choice will affect the ability to join the other faction afterwards... :unsure:
