maybe someone can help me with some details.
SO i got 1 very evil bug with two Chars from me a level 52 Thief Khajit and a level 51 Mage.

I dont get any new letters from a Courier :/ I had finished the white phial quest and the event with the courier for the next quest step dont work, because there will come no courier.
The same problem i have with the for a friend letters (so i dont get any new quest for the dragon screams) yeah i now i can find the shrines manualy but.... i would prefer these quests
and i got the letter bug with the dark brotherhood... after i had killed grelok (the old wife in rifton) and the courier didnt come after i had complete the quest and then !
if i sleep for a moment.. then the event start with the leader of the dark brotherhood.

the other bug was a item bug... i got giant toe′s and i cant use them with alchemy

what can i do? did anyone have an idea?

I honestly don't know what to say about the courier bug, but regarding the giant's toe bug - have you started a quest that requires or involved giant's toe? The one coming to mind is A Night To Remember.

now that i think about it on my second playthrough i did not get the we know DB note but i could join them... & i have gotten no dragon locations from a courier.... & im still waiting for the repair the phial note( its been awhile since the 1st phial quest)....JEEZ... on my 1st playthrough i got repairing the phial but it bugged cause i had a briar heart b4 i got the quest.... my 1st character which was mostly 1.1 & 1.2 got all these notes but not on my 2nd which was all 1.3

Yup, I haven't gotten a courier or friend letter in at least 100 hours of play nor the Phial follow up. I even went back to the store but there was no dialog option for any additional quest.

I can accept these minor glitches but the lag & the freezing which requires a manual shut down are high priority fix requirements. I've had 2 freezes per day lately. Quite worrisome. I moved Skyrim to my older PS3 because I can't risk my 500 gig upgraded model that has many digital games installed. My older console has only Skyrim installed & 43 gig of free space.

I love this game but it's a very tempestuous love affair. I never played the Fallout games, but I did play 370 hours of Oblivion (on this older console) & I most certainly did not have this level of problems. I would hope that enough of the senior staff of Beth still have that bygone age attribute "old-fashioned American work ethic" & "pride in their work product" to make good on the most highly anticipated game of the year. Silence since 12/22 is eroding my optimism, as are the twice daily console freezes.

@samhain no i didnt have any quest which need giant toe′s
so for whiterun i see 4 louie letroush but i cant reallly kill them.. only as werwolf i can kill there but ! the respawn new Oo....
the good point now is.. i get a new courier now for the dark brotherhood.. but no any other couriers since 6~ h playtime today : /
i really hope that the 1.4 patch fix some q bugs and bette the performance
