I have all the official dlc and am a level 9 dark elf.
I have all the recent unofficial patches.
I was returning from clearing out a mine and when i got to whiterun i was approached by a courier who said he had a letter from the yarl and nothing was put into my inventory or no new quest was added.
Is this a known bug and did i miss out on a quest i need.
Im thinking its a hearthfire bug...dont you get a letter at level 9?If so is there anything i can do?

If it was hte letter from the jarl of Falk, dont worry about it, it wasnt really needed, you can just go there and talk to him about it anyways, dialogue is just slightly different.
