crafting and skills

so i do alot of crafting and smithing, i noticed that when you recharge a weapon, it counts to enchanting, but making an Ore into an ingot *sp* that it doesnt count to smithing (or so it appears)

should turning ore into the ingots be part of the skill?

and whats up with the silver weapons and lack of?

we only have the silver sword and long sword that cant be tempered? WTF?

am i the only one that thinks this is kind of screwy?

Three different variations of the Imperial Helmet. I'm sure other things exist, they are not coming to mind right now.

I don't really care one way or the other.

I really wish they would fix this, the Silver Weapons are among the best looking in the game.

Never question the high order of Bethesda! Authorities, arrest this ne'er-do-well for his insolence!

I wish there were a silver bow. However, the idea of a melee weapon using silver as a primary component is a little comedic seeing as silver is extremely soft. We could assume it's an alloy, I suppose, but I can't help but smiling when I use a silver sword. What's next, a gold sword?
