crafting bows and enchanting stuff?

Does smithing let you craft bows or how does that work? Can you smith arrows?

Also, I'm really confused on how enchanting.
  • how do I fill soul gems?
  • how do I recharge an enchanted item?
  • can you only learn new enchantments by disenchanting found items?

Thanks!

I have no idea about crafting bows... I need to find out as well, since my character is an archer!

for soul gems, you need to learn the soul trap spell.. you cast that on an enemy and if it dies while under the effects of the spell, empty soul gems in your inventory will be filled up (the effect looks cool too :D )

As far as I know you can only learn enchants through disenchanting, I found a handy soul trap enchant.. so now I have a sword that svcks the souls out without the need for a spell :)

Highlight the weapon you'd like to recharge in your inventory. If you have a soul gem you can then choose to recharge it. (The "T" option will show up.)
Your question piqued me into recharging my empty Whiterun Axe, I've only got lesser and petty soul gems at lvl 6 though.
