Does anyone else have an issue with ATI cards regarding when after the campaign intro the game stops responding? I can't seem to fix the problem, I got a patch for the game but that just added more graphic settings.

I have the same problem, but when the intro finishes i go back to the menu.

Is there any known fix? What is the latest patch?

Try this it might help you: go into properties of Rage in stream and verify integrity of game cache.
While there also run Defragment cache files.
