Crashing when taking a drink

Yeah, first of apologies for posting this here but it is not really a technical issue but most probably mod related.

So, yes, whenever I am trying to take a sip from any water source in the game will my game crash. It did work before and I am completely at a loss as to what could cause this.

I hope anyone here will be able to help me, well, so, heres my mod list.

I am moving this to Mods as I have not heard of this issue in the Vanilla Game.

Good luck finding which one is doing this.

Hi Scarce, if the Canteen.esp is from my mod Canteen I can tell you I've had no troubles with it nor any reports of incompatibility, since your crashing involves drinking and my mod involves using water sources I'd guess its a good place to start...it works via a script and does not affect the water activators directly so I'm at a loss as to how it could cause a problem, but with the number of mods you use...who knows, there are a lot of variables there, I see you also have LFox's mod as well, don't quote me but I think his mod fills via the activators...I would say since both affect water drinking and filling that you should use only one or the other but not both at the same time.
As with any mod related problem you should start by deactivating one mod at a time in an attempt to narrow down the culprit, or remove all mods and reactivate one at a time.

*edit, I just did some checking and it would be a bad idea to use Bottle That Water and Canteen simultaneously, both mods fill canteens and water bottles from water drinking activators so there is bound to be some kind of conflicts there, both mods have similar functions so choose the one that suits you best.
In the mod list you posted I see that canteen and bottle that water are both unchecked, if you are still crashing with them deactivated try using a clean save to test... possible your save is corrupted..

**edit, your FalloutNV.esm should load first ;)

Firstly, use BOSS(search for it on the nexus), secondly use FONVEDIT to make a merged patch at the very least. FOnvEdit will make sure that your mods are at least in some workable order before it performs any functions, read Miaxis tome of fo3edit/fonvedit available on their respective nexus.

BOSS will sort your mods based on the best possible load orders and will update itself with a load order template from the net, FOnvEdit will allow you to make a merged patch and, at higher levels of understanding, troubleshoot these kind of difficulties.

For instance:

Viewable on FoNVedit- Water sources like:
WaterTypeQuantumColaSpill
WaterTypeVault92

Basically drinkable water sources, this might help you to find your problem.

Lastly I can see how maybe you were playing with one or both of the previously mentioned mods, then you got tired of them or some such, disabled them, and the water sources in your save games might still be trying to do what the old mods did. Similar situations have happened to me.

The merged patch is a very good idea, I'd forgotten about that.

Just thinking out loud, canteen's script is attached to the water effects themselves where bottle that water (I believe) is attached to the activators, both mods fill when the player drinks...seems likely that if both were active at some time there was a conflict and the save corrupted (just guessing)

Thanks for all the suggestions, however I figured that Bottle That Water or canteen might causes problems (Used the later before and it worked fine). However, I haven't activated them. So, that can't be it.

I also started a new game, so thats not it either. Aaargh! Its driving me mad. Anyways, lets see what the scrips say in FNVEdit.

edit:

I found the problem. For whatever reason my falloutnv main file is screwed up. The mods are all alright, just not that important file, haha.

At least I think so.

I start with only the main file activated and I still crash when drinking.
