Am I crazy? Asixual giants?

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 6:57 pm

So I came across a mod the other day that added a lot of other monsters I didn't care for. The thing I noticed though was female giants. This made me realize, there aren't any female giants. Now, I'm not looking for some behemoth thing with udders the size of a volkswagen beetle. But unless the giants are asixual it just make sense to have female giants. Has anyone come across a mod that addresses this, or considered doing it? (I have played with CK some but wouldn't even consider trying this) Although I suppose it may not be so bad. Mostly just take the hair away from the chin, stick some on the head and put a shirt on.

Again, I'm not looking for giant s*x objects. But it just makes sense doesn't it? Part of me wonders if Bethesda didn't leave that out for fear of what some would do with that. :P

There are also only like 8 children in the entire game, clearly not enough to support the continue population. I just don't think it was a focus for them.

Good point, and I can accept that. It's kinda what I figured... not really an important detail. But as I watch them walking around it just bugs me. Asixual giants..

Btw, Falskaar looks quite impressive. Look forward to checking it out when it's released.

No male horses either... Who wants to go around putting the 'things' on half the horses in Skyrim? lol.

Most creatures dont really have an opposite gender. I don't really think it'd hurt anything to add genders for creatures, but at the same time, its one of those 'little things'

The female giants are back at the giant homes cookin' dinner and birthin' babies. :P Or they just come into existence through magical means.
Come to think of it, those giants do spend an awful lot of time around mammoths....

Well, and I don't have a need to see the kibbles n bits. Looking at a horse you can imagine it's either male or female. The giants on the other hand are very obviously only male.

Hmmm, you make an excellent point. And they do get very angry when you get too close to their mammoths. And this also explains why mammoths are so dang hostile when you go near them. Probably rather skittish... :P

Flat-chested bearded women. Rare among humans - extraordinarily common amongst giants.

The Skyrim Monster Mod adds female giants that look like http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/9694-1-1337074050.jpg. They could use a little more aging, but it's a good start.

I quite like the female giants. The horns seem a little odd, but I just roleplay it as not actual horns but a form of head-dress that they wear.

So I came across a mod the other day that added a lot of other monsters I didn't care for.

If you're talking about Skyrim Monster Mod, and you're not aware, I have a series of esp files to remove some of these monsters - comes in a variety of flavours:

1) Removes just the Triceratops and Young Mammoth (tiny elephant - baby mammoths shouldn't be bald!)
2) Removes all the Witcher creatures
3) Removes all the horror creatures
4) Removes all the new SkyMoMod dragons for better Deadly Dragons compatibility
5) Removes all creatures that break lore and renames others that could fit into the Skyrim or Elder Scrolls world. Creative license used.
6) Purist Lore-Friendly version - removes all lore-unfriendly creatures.

I'm updating to be compatible with the latest version of the monster mod at the moment, so any last minute requests for removals/adjustments may still be considered.
