I have been attempting to create a permanent Dremora follower either through modding or the console and was hoping to get advice. So far I have tried adding http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Velehk_Sain to the follower faction using "addtofaction 5c84d 3" as well as adding him to "5a1a4" however I cannot talk to him. I have also tried adding Dremora found in the world to the follower faction with the same result. The most recent attempt i made was changing a mercenary’s race to dremora but all I got was a human with funky face paint.

I also tried this on a dark elf with unsatisfactory results. Any help would be appreciated.

A dremora will most surely not have the dialog required to be a follower. You also have to set the relationship rank of the npc to the player when you do this too. The console command is `setrelationshiprank`

I was hoping it would work with Veleh because you can actually talk to him, i should try sanguine too.

Having sanguine or any deadric god as a follower would be amazing.

Well if you do then gotta make the grp running around killing vamps and such go after you and your new partner since they hate the daedra most ... just a suggestion.

attempted it with Nocturnal, Sanguine and Sheogorath. None were successful however i can talk to Sheogorath testing will continue.
