So I was playing last night, hanging out around Riften, and suddenly some crazy encounters started happening around the gates. Tons of monster would swarm the area whenever I went outside, I even saw a troll killing npcs inside Riften once. First time I thought it was just a weird fluke, but now everywhere I go I'm getting hounded by tons of monsters, maybe every 5 minutes. What's the deal?

To be honest, I haven't played a huge amount of http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?toolid=10029&campid=CAMPAIGNID&customid=CUSTOMID&catId=267&type=2&ext=181069445990&item=181069445990 yet, and the character I was using was around 27-28 I guess when this first started happening. He's now 31, and its just ridiculous, it's literally not safe to walk around for too long without toggling god mode. Swarms of wild animals and monster willl gang up and attack any npc's they can find. Is this supposed to be happening?

I only had 2 mods that affected creatures (although both had been on from lvl 1, and this only started around 27), Skyrim Monster Mod and Bellyache's Animal and Creature Pack. I removed SMM, but even after that it just put in vanilla creatures (the amount of them was still the same). The creature pack only adds textures, so it should be affecting anything.

Hmmm.... Interesting, the only thing I would do would be to remove the other mod. It can't hurt right?

I'll definitely try that next. I just loaded it up again, it's total chaos. Monsters are everywhere. There's a troll, 2 spiders, and one of those cave worms running around the docks of Windhelm killing everyone. The stables at the end of the bridge got massacred by 4 spiders, 2 bears, and 2 sabercats, only a horse surived. It's not even like some of these monsters are supposed to be in these areas (like the worms)
