I picked up my CE this morning at 9am(UK time), PC version, freaking big box!, the pictures we've seen don't do it justice, fortunately mine does not have an awful un-contrasting green band around the top, but I digress.

I rushed home to install it, keep in mind I've already read the post's with people having problems installing so I was somewhat anxious, there was a little hitch to start, for some reason the disk could not be read, but this was cured after a reboot, but the whole install after that went as smooth as butter, no problems with Steam trying to download the entire game, it installed from the disk without me taking any measures.

I'd already set my windows sound to 41khz so no problems with the game starting, that was the only adjustment I made before installing.

I've now been playing for nearly 3 hours and my only gripes are the textures(ultra selected) and clunky control interface, apart from that the game is running smooth and I'm enjoying it.

Thank you devs for a game that I've not had to spend half the day on just to get it running.

P.S, I'm not knocking those with problems, I sympathize with you, been there with Fallout 3 and Oblivion, I truly hope you get your problems resolved soon.
