Well this may be considered a rant but I'm curious if this has happened to anyone else. I pre-ordered the CE of pc skyrim and CE strategy guide, yet they haven't shipped yet, well today when I left work (2 hours after I checked my account) I check my gamestop account again and they have removed my order of skyrim with no notice nor email, and I can't get thru to customer service.

I also should add but I pre-ordered these over a month ago.

Sad day.

Game and Gamestop, both to be avoided. This happened to me once before, and I've never been back.

The amount of balls that svcks is a number well over nine-thousand. That really svcks dude, I hope you get things sorted out.

Well that's odd... They haven't shipped my CE yet but its still showing in my Order history tab. Its status is still 'Open'.

Do you have a receipt by any chance? Cause I just got a call from them this afternoon asking if I was in the midnight release or picking it up after 12:30 PM tomorrow.

I have the exact same order and I pre-ordered months ago. Still says not shipped but
that can be because of many reasons. One being, the game is not officially released
until midnight, and another might be it doesn't get entered into their system/page not
getting updated right away.

For you it sounds like your ordered too late and they don't have enough copies, or your
payment somehow failed to go through?

Do you still have the reciept?
If you do, March right up to the store and demand you're game!

Yes, my was on "Open" also, I've been checking my email and GSaccount for the past few days considering the shipments going out, but what makes me upset about this ordeal is no notice at all, and I just checked my account before leaving work and it was still there, got home, ate ect. then checked again and it's gone yet my strategy guide order is still there (These were both the same order too by the way) and they have charged the guide's $52.48 to my account, but Skyrim itself is just gone.

A little notice would have been nice, then I could have got it through Amazon.

5 weeks ago I pre-ordered to be exact, and payment wasn't declined, they charged for my strategy guide after all.

Gamestop is the cesspool of gaming. My wife pre-ordered a Sims game through them, two weeks before release date I found it cheaper elsewhere so I ordered it through newegg and went to cancel the gamestop order. They refused to cancel the order saying it was already ready for shipping (two weeks before the ship date, my ass) they told me to just take it to a local gamestop store and return it. When we did the local store said they don't return games like that, it took three trips and about 5 phone calls, finally had to get them on my cellphone at the store to get my damn money back.

Then their was the story of gamestop opening peoples sealed games and removing advertisemants they didn't like, ohh HELL NO!

I have NEVER had a good experience with Gamestop. I flat out refuse to give them any of my hard earned money anymore, because of the last two games I have pre-ordered through them. It is extremely frustrating, so I went through Amazon this time. If all goes well, I should have my copy at my front door tomorrow morning.

Truthfully this was my first bad experience with them, I've never had anything like this happened before, pre-orders I always got on release day if they guaranteed it ect. I guess now though they have lost a good customer because at this point I can't order the CE from elsewhere and I doubt I could find it in a store. Such a shame, it is an overpriced CE but I wanted to get one for one of the greatest game series I've ever played (would have been only CE I'd have bought as well).

Pre ordered the standard edition from gamestop when the CE was announced. Checked the status of my order on Gamestop's website and found that the status had changed to closed. Now they've sent me an email say that it has been shipped. It should be sitting on my doorstep when I get home from work tomorrow.

Seems Amazon still has copies but prolly wont get till monday but could try, might not be to late for your area.

Well I just got notified via email that my strategy guide has shipped and my order is listed as closed now on my account, still showing only the guide. Still trying to get through to customer service, still the automated system telling me they are busy.

Kill a dragon for me guys. In a way I feel sorry for the poor Joe that gets my call.

You have the receipt for your pre-order don't you? Walk into your GS and show them your receipt. They can't contest that.
