While walking around the snowy areas of Skyrim I've noticed something in particular that I miss. It's the sound of the crunchy snow being stepped on, you know when you walk and it "crunches". I'm not sure if it'd be 'realistic' although that's not what I strive for. It still adds a certain feel to it when walking around in snow, hearing that sound.
I'd love to do this myself, although, without the construction kit I don't know how. Is it even possible yet? If anyone can manage and share the same thoughts, please do! I(and many others I believe?) would appreciate it!

Maybe the "Footprint in the snow" group is interested in such things. They are really far in their work and maybe you find someone in this thread who is able to add it. Could be a nice addition. How about asking in the thread?

Skyrim does have that. I have distinctly heard snow crunching noises when you walk over certian surfaces.

On which point? Maybe i was not there at the moment, but i can not remember the crunching noise....

Turn your music off, Skyrim has plenty of crunchy snow walking noises.
