Cry babies.....

why is it that everyone only sees the bad how about some good? I personally want to commend Bethesda for a beautiful game and promptly working to fix the glitches that have been found. It is one thing to let someone know about a problem, but it is another to be a jerk about it.

They haven't fixed anything significant, they've caused more problems. The game is broken. People have a right to complain.

This is the HARDWARD AND SOFTWARE ISSUES forum. Not the rainbow and sunshine forum.

"hay guise why you post about so many errors and issues in this forum?"

Things happen. You didn't buy your disc already broken, now did you? Tape or glue won't fix that. The game has been playable before the 1.2 patch for the utmost majority of the game. People have sunk hours into it. That's getting your moneys worth already. People are just crybabies. This generation has updates and whatnot for a reason.

To inform about a problem yes. To down talk and degrade someone or something is just rude. Besides do you have the talents to do what these people do? I have had no problems with the game yet and I have been all over the place, plus they let everyone know not to install the game to their hard drives the first night.

To break a game that you paid money for?

I'm sorry, I thought I was entitled to the game I bought. I was unaware I was paying for a few days' worth of gameplay, and then sudden implementation of a "patch" that adds a slew of bugs and issues. They break it, you buy it, right?

Can you see the patch that allows me to actually play this game again from up there, on your high horse?

You're right; I don't have the talents to code dragons to fly backwards or break an integral game mechanic such as elemental resistances. Well done for not having any problems. This is the part of the forum where we talk about sofware and hardware problems, however; not where we don't talk about software and hardware problems.

Cut your crap. The game has been playable for everyone. How many hours have you put into it? Go ahead, tell me. In a massive game like this, there will be bugs. Betheda has addressed some the first day. Some things may be broken, but the game as a whole ISN'T. There's plenty to do even with the bugs. Almost every game has some sort of bugs. Skyrim isn't even a month old, still offers tons of hours even with the bugs, and people are still b.itching about? No reason to be rude to them. It's not like you only got to Riverwood and the game ripped you off.

Some people can't even get to Riverwood.

For those of you that think my post is out of place in this forum. I am sorry but do you really think they are going to fix anything for people that are rude. I feel they would be more willing to fix problems for those who use proper ways to inform of a problem. Would you talk to your boss like some people here have been if there is a problem? I think not.

So don't install the patch, or uninstall later. I'm always on the lookout for regressions in _any_ software update (and they are not uncommon, despite what less.. 'informed'.. members of this forum seem to think), and upon discovering that there were several present in the 1.2 patch I simply elected not to install it. I remarked that it svcked that we'll have to wait awhile longer niggling issues like texture streaming on the 360 and follower-leveling across all platforms -- and not so niggling issues, like occasional quest-breakages -- are addressed, but you know... I never really felt the need to descend into histrionics about it.

If I uninstall the patch, I have to play it patchless. Can't redownload 1.1, and the save file won't work with 1.0 (or whatever it is out the box).

So if I regress to 1.1, that means I'm also going to be playing while not on Xbox Live. Or, I can keep the patch and have game-breaking issues.

Which of the things that I paid for should I not get to use, again?

People werent rude when they waited for this last patch. Now, after waiting patiently, this latest patch actually made the game worse. Its almost like a Kick when youre down. Fans waited years for this game and expected almost a polished product after such a long wait. What makes matters worse is that a patch cant even fix all the issues without breaking other game mechanics. Its disheartening, frustrating, and just plain ridiculous now. Its the company's own fault now that plenty of people are probably reading posts on this forum and are going to hold out on purchasing the game.

there in lies the problem, we've sunk hours into the game, developing our characters, completing side quests as well as main quests, and that is what a RPG game is about, spending hours on hours of play to develop your character into what you want them to be. Many people haven't even scratched the serface of the the game play and have already advanced their characters to level 30-40 even higher, having to start from scratch again (for those individuals who can) from a broken patch isn't crying or whining, people are upset and they have every right to be from what I can see is going on. I dont blame them for being mad, honestly I sat here for 20 minutes before deciding to decline the patch, and after testing the patch on a different 360 and seeing just how badly it adversely effected previous save files, I have still chose not to update. The game worked good, it worked decent, prior to the patch. There are instances if you do not follow a certain pattern to the quests you can cause other quests to become uncompletable, but that was tolerable as their are hundreds of quests though the game to play through. The only individuals who I can see calling others cry babies for their saved games no longer working properly for them, are those individuals who do not normally play RPG games and are more versed in Shooter style games.

Many valid points were brought up about the patch, being that the PS3 version of the patch, had the same ill effects to players games as the xbox 360 version, Bethesda Softworks could of pulled the patch before it was released in a last stitch effort to prevent more customers from being disgruntled over this. Being the majority of individuals are being effected by this patch in a ill manor it would of been in Bethesda Softworks best interest to pull the patch before its release, but they chose not to, knowing that it would cause even more upset with more customers after seeing the floods of reports from PS3 users.

People are not reacting well to the change, and many are just yelling fix it, but still, one shouldn't start calling people names just because they are upset (yes that goes for those who are upset as well) I for one hope that they put out some sort of a fix for this, as this is a core problem with the save file itself caused by the patch, and not just some random glitch.

Whatver man. I had no issues prior to the v1.2 patch. Now all my dragons fly backwards and away from me. Bethesda just took a couple minor bugs and patched it with more bugs.

If you think this is some small issue you are mistaken.
