I saw this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-D9oINHI11E in it it said something about live create and showed cryEngine 3's sandbox then arrows pointing down to the consle versions. Will there be a in game editor like in Far Cry? I have some thoughts but highly doudt them.....

It is likely that their will be a Sandbox + SDK for the PC, but nothing has been 100% announced yet. For the consoles, its doubtful, but like I said, nothing has been announced.

I dont see crytek giving the consoles a sandbox editor, the one they created is way to complicated to be run on XBOX360 or PS3, it would actually be more of a problem to "dumb down" the editor to be run on the consoles. My guess is PC will get the Sandbox only, which makes me sad because I am going to have to get crysis2 for XBOX360 cuz my PC cant run it

Hi ThyBeast, we have no updated information to release currently regarding an editor for Crysis 2. The FarCry 2 editor was built specifically for the game by Ubisoft Montreal.

yeah the FC2 cummunity is expecting a sand box editor on Crysis2...
i bought a console just so i dont have to update my pc every month...
now it seems i will have to get back on the pc what is not likely...

can you upload the custom maps made on the pc on the consoles?

is there going to a beta for ps3?

i`m looking forward to the release of Crysis2.....

That is probably what console owners are going to get, just the ability to download PC user created content, so I am relying on our PC editors to step it up because seeing as I have to run crysis 2 on XBOX I wont be able to create my own maps, but who knows consoles may get a editor for all I know
