A small articel on IGN detailes that EA has showsn the release dates for Crysis 2

22nd March 2011 - US

25th March 2011 - Europe

Judging by the definate release dates, I'd say that here was no real need for the delay based the game production time, it's just EA trying to steal a space no too crowded by other games being released so they get more sales...

Although it does give Crytek alot more time to polish it to perfection, I'll be preordering before Christmas anyway
