Aware that the PC platform will have dedicated servers....but can anyone "officially" confirm if the 360 console will also have Dedicated servers for MP or will it use the P2P system that the demo used please

There will be dedicated servers like they are for Call of Duty: Black Ops. Don't expect a piece of software you can install on your own PC or your root-server. You have to rent a server from one of the following providers.

Thats right and Homefront was crap. Not that Homefromt being crap has anything to do with dedicated servers, but I don't see a game as awesome as Crysis 2 not having it's own servers.
