Prior to buying this game...i had no problem with my monitor ... after running it and playing with intense light flicker....i now have a pale stripe that goes from the top to the bottom of the right side of my screen ....im stuck with it looking like crap....! I SUPPORT YOU BY BUYING YOUR GAME AND YOU BREAK MY MONITOR ?!?!?! WTF!

cmon man. A game doesn't break a monitor. Maybe your monitor is defective. Check the warranty on it and get a replacement.

Monitor can't be broken by video game. It is highly likely that your graphics card is broken, not monitor. If it's still under warranty RMA it, if not buy new one. Case closed.

Perhaps hs monitor was on the brink of breaking and Crysis 2 just so happened to be that game that pushed it to its limits.

Technically speaking it could have been any game that would have broken his monitor, but in this case it was in fact Crysis 2.

Should Crytek get blamed no. But I do believe the OP is telling the truth.

Bottom line is the Monitor had to be doing something to trigger the problem. That something happened to be Crysis 2.

Sorry! Dude! Perhaps a God is doing you favor and preventing you from playing this terrible game.

The line is there because your native resolution is out of whack.

Try adjusting res...you may need to boot into safe mode.

This a common problem with game and website overlays...Hulu, Steam etc.

its in the pc if hes using a controller thats why it broke JK
it might be that his graphics card had a sodering problem and melted lol lets hope not

or your to mean to your monitor or your monitors old but only way a video game could affect a monitor is if you rage to mutch and hit your monitor :/

well there is one game that can.. quake 4 got an update that could break you lcd monitor but it fixed now ..
