fix multi serial in use bullsh it

PhatboyHD and homernoy I'm in the same sinking boat. I have 2 ASUS Matrix 5870 P in Crossfire and I get horrible flickering and then eventually the game freezes. I'm truly irate over the fact that in addition to this problem, Crysis 2 is not a DX11 game and there are no graphic settings. Absolutely horrible.

Renaming it to bioshock.exe solves the flickering, but the crossfire performance takes a hit I think, still about 50% improvement over single gpu though

pff anyone remember the interview with the guys from intel, microsoft and nvidia for the first crysis talkin about how they sent their employees to help them to optimize the game and how the game was gonna be the best experience ever?? ahahaha crytek up your a**.. this game is soo **** im not even gonna waste my HDD space to torrent this piece of ****.. no sli support, fail login issues no 64bit no dx11 ( not even dx10. ).. in this case, your company died in my eyes.

On their release date...my pre-order stuff worked the second i booted it up. crysis 2 pre order stuff still doesnt work 13 hours after release. HOLY **** WTF IS GOING ON. **** POST A DAMN RESPONSE TELLING US YOUR GOING TO FIX IT OR SOMETHING. JESUS you guys svck crytek you svck svck svck. FIX IT. everytime i join multiplayer i got back to rank 2. (cuz i played a match and leveled up) i should be rank 5 with a scar and hologram and what not. but im not. i cant even use my custom class 1 but i can edit it at the main menu...wtf. that is so gay. fix it or else your gonna lose a lot of customers..i know someone at gamestop who will return this for me..and all my friends who bought it to so you guys are probbaly gonna lose a lot of money..sorry to burst your bubble but you guys svck. period. fix this **** all **** ready. **** damn man fix it.

i cant download Crysis 2 1.01 patch i just cant how do i download it i cant ???????????????

I have the same problem...Tried messing with it for 2 hours and finally gave up. I WILL not level myself to 5, you dumb-asses need to fix the problem!

I just gave up and played campaign until its fixed. I can say campaign is nice.

But Crytek this multiplayer issue is very disappointing.

It says my serial code is in use but I literally just downloaded it on Steam.... Why? Honestly show the PC fans some love. No one actually cares about gaming as much as us...

^Uhm, no? Us console gamers are every bit as devout as you are; some of us just don't go throwing our money down the drain by investing on ridiculously expensive hardware that needs to be updated every two years.

Actually Pc gaming is cheaper, first, most people have a pc in the first place, so why not also get it for gaming? 80$ power supply + 150$ ATI 5770, gets you through most games including crysis 2, thats allready cheaper than Xbox, and Ps3, and if you aren't spending $200-600$ on a normal Home PC in the first place, you're either paying too much, or buying it from a scrap yard.

Nope, sir you are sadly mistaken, pc gaming is actually cheaper than console gaming.

For all of you trying to do this patch thing.

Retail CD/DVD version:

Just press on the crysis2.exe and it will begin automatically downloading a patch, then it will ask you to install it. After doing this it will work.

Steam Version:

Its already patched.

If you have AVG it will see the new crysis2 patch as a "virus" simply go into resident shield advanced tools and allow bin32 in your crysis 2 folder to be excluded and everything should be set.

The Crysis 2 icon in my Games folder leads me to the application in /bin32 called Crysis2Laucher.exe. When I open the program it tries to download Crysis 2 patch v 1.1, but after it finishes downloading an error message shows up and it says it couldn't find the GAME! Here's the exact error text:
" Crysis 2 could not be located on your system. Re-install Crysis 2 and then run this patch again".
I cannot reinstall the game because I got this off EA Online Store I will not use additional 9 GB bandwidth to download the same game.
Crytek please help in fixing this problem

Lol... Like I seriously found a way to get into the game without the exe. I'm using EA Digital Download version. The launcher wont run cause I apparently am missing this .dll file, but if I ignore the launcher and use the .exe for the game, I can go to the game... it just doesnt patch.

Azim: When i updated Crysis, AVG Antivirus's resident shield popped up saying Crysis.exe was suspect. Had to add an exception. Maybe whatever antivirus you're using automatically quarantined it.

For the time being i might just resort to the campaign. Quite fun, and from what the GameTrailers review said.... long as hell. 12 HOURS?!? To whoever said Homefront is better.... you seriously need to leave the gaming community for an utter lack in taste for games. THAT game is a complete and utter waste of time. I actually bought it.... read some reviews the day it came out before i even opened it.... decided NOT to open it, and instead returned it. Then got a bootleg copy.... installed that, played it for all of 5 minutes, and erased every sign of that horrible excuse of a game being on my computer. Completely scripted.... the AI is absolutly moronic, frequently just standing in the open hoping to get something accomplished.... and from what i've heard.... SHORT campaign.... supposedly around 4 hours. If you ask me... multiplayer alone isn't worth $60. Not to mention that the graphics are below sub-par.

Aim assist will still work with a control pad in the single player campaign on PC.
