dont get me wrong i loved the single player but you guys have made the worst multiplayer ever. first of all we dont need another cod game, this is a complete replica except for the fact that cod has about 1000 times better connection and less **** up **** in the multiplayer.

DONT take your stats seriously: this is the worst game ever made for competitive gaming, the amount of **** ups and glitches in the multiplayer is ****... the amount of times i have walked up behind a person in cloak who then i will start to shoot at them, then suddenly they magically switch to armor turn around with supposedly 100% energy and survive 100 bullets from the m60 to the face is surprising. actually i can account that actual scenario in almost every multiplayer match i have ever played on crysis 2. oh and im not the only one suffering this problem. not to mention the constant one bullet deaths that i get in every game, when i apparently have 100% armor i come up against an invisible guy and he apparently wins with one bullet to the body?

network connection: so i payed 100 dollars for a red to yellow connection to the people in the same state as me. WTF is happening here. i get a great connection to halo cod and bfbc2. no my nat type is open and i have checked. i have heard constant rumers that crytek have fixed the lag but whenever i get into a match every one including me have red to yellow connection.

cod game style: i dont think this game would be anywhere near as **** up if it had bigger maps with more wide open space like what was given in the first crysis. and dont tell me the xbox wont run it because the whole single player included is wide open maps, and bfbc2 can render huge maps with much more people and has so much higher quality graphics than crysis 2.

oh and last but not least the demo absolution raqed the finished product. it had such better connection and the gameplay was so much fairer with much less ****... every bullet hit where it was supposed to and noone could have this magical armor/invisibility perk that so many people have. HOST pro is just about the most unfair thing in this game. as soon as you are host you have magical abilities, to bad cryteks netcode svck and they cant get the game to choose host with good connection.

this is my opinion, feel free to troll as i know all you cod fanboys will. this is coming from someone who loved crysis 1 and warhead and loved the singleplayer of crysis 2. i am deeply saddened at the fact that i was told this game was going to be epic when sadly whatever retard said it must have been on crack at the time. it will go at the bottem of my game pile as i can not return it and i hope you will understand what a mistake crysis 2 has been.

A beta which for some reason seemed to have better matchmaking. I was a beast during the beta and got to 230th in the world, so I had high hopes for the final release. Now I can barely get a kill and seem at least a second behind all my enemies... the same sh*t everyone else is dealing with: killed by one bullet; terrible hit detection; broken melee etc.

I've stopped playing until I hear news that the matchmaking has been improved. Thankfully I only paid ￡30 for the game, so if it comes to it, I can sell it on eBay and still make a profit.

I know i will be renting crysis 3 in the future, I had a blast with the SP but as you said the MP is horrid. everyonce in a while i will get a glimpse of what this game should have been and have a great round that is intense and fun, but 1 round out of 100 just isnt enough to stick around. On april 18th this game gets traded for portal 2

I'm willing to allow bugs/glitches/connection issues to pass in the multiplayer portions of the game... It's difficult to anticipate all the issues that can arise online... but at the very, VERY least, the campaign should be damn near flawless... This is the portion of the game I shouldn't have to wait for an internet update to fix. (Not that it's unplayable, it just erks me to see graphic/AI/freezing/achievement issues arise in something that should be completed BEFORE RELEASE.)

Maybe all of the issues are on the UK side but I have played for about 56 hours and put in almost 300 matches and I rarely experience many of the issues at hand. I think the "1 bullet the the chest" kill is just latency in the kill cam relay. I rarely get host and I usually have orange or yellow and still have a 1.64 K/D and have been MVP 98 times. The only time I see a host destroy every one is if the rest of the room is in the red. So issues here and am perfectly happy with the game. An update to polish the game is welcome, but I hardly think the game is broken.

now, i dont really like halo, but play a game of crysis online, and then go play reach. then tell me you dont see the problems with crysis 2 MP. just another example of todays videogame industry standard: Over hype the game for months, then deliver a sub par product. devs need to realize that the majority of the population of gamers now days are all about the social side of gaming. competing against other human beings and having social interactions, making friends, trashtalking.. sure you can do these things in crysis, but people would rather participate in a game that has reliable MP. crysis 2 has no staying power. it will be dead in 6 months or less. i promise you that. Crytek should have followed suit with epic games and employed dedicated servers. (which is where MP games are going to shift within the next year or so)

I didn't loved the SP, I liked it, but loved? No.

I haven't played CoD or any alike MP and everything is new to me. The last time I played online FSP was CS and Quake 3 Arena.

I haven't experienced any lag at all. And I have a day and half of actual playtime.

Never had the "one kill bullet" too.

But sure the game has some very annoying bugs. Like when you cast Gama Ray and the server freezes. Or the broken melee.

Overall, it's pretty nice. Some major bug fixing needed, but nice.

Agree 100% about the MP issues. Single is awesome-well done Crytek-but I purchased this game for MP.

I feel like the demo had strong P2P
connections and more of a 'fairness' as far as killing and being killed was concerned. In the release I'm at a 0.70 KD (about half my average during the demo) and haven't played in a week.

My wife asks the other night if I'm going to play Crysis and I tell her I won't as it will just piss me off, which svcks because I couldn't get enough of the dinky demo with only 2 maps and limited loadouts.

For the record I have no problem with lag or hit boxes, etc. In CoD or Halo. The Cry2 demo was what sold me and I feel like I've PAID for an inferior product. In fact, can I just have the demo back, please?

I just hope they patch the game because it has A LOT of potential.

God, people are acting as if they did this on purpose. Grow the hell up and stop whining. Yes, it's annoying that these issues are here as I've experienced this too and it's so frustrating. But going so far as to say stuff like they over hype and then release a sub-par product isn't really fair. I heard Crysis did well so obviously the FANS would hype up Crysis 2. Making a game is hard so if you think a game will be 100% perfect with all the things they add in then you're fooling yourself.

There was a Beta and there were problems there too but you know what, if they pushed the release date back a few months to work on these issues then you would all complain about a delay.

The games hasn't even been a for a month yet so calm the heck down. Give then time to work on patches properly and not give rush and give a defective solution because we all know that if they hurry to satisfy you guys and it fails you'll b*tch somemore.

The MP has played perfectly for me, not a single hitch. I feel sorry for you guys who feel as though they have been cheated, because IMO this is the best FPS for a long time, it beats COD 4. The only time I get frustrated is when a cloaked camper SCAR's me n the back, and maybe the K-VOLT is a little overpowered, but the game is Lag free for me at all times, I don't even realise I am playing at a one bar. Best purchase since Minecraft, IMO.

But that is my experience and my opinion. also, the Melee needs to be a OHKO, or fixed. It's worse than CoD 5.
