So I tried the single player mode, the game starts but all i get is completly flickering graphics, the screen keeps blinking and flickering it has given me a bad migraine, i tried all 3 graphic setting.... (not much options).
Also i am sensitive to headaches so i always disable motion blur, this game doenn't have the option to disable this why not???

I've got the same flickering issue.
Upon trying all different (3) gfx settings and different resolutions I found that putting off V-Sync stops the flickering but blanks out practically the complete screen.
Can the game be run in DX10 or DX9?

Is there a hardware related issue? I played the demo and that didn't have no flicker issues, yet ran at hardcoe gfx level slightly slower... flickering or slower frame rates is not a choice I have paid for to have to make... please fix this asap.

here are my hardware specs:
Asus P6T Deluxe
Intel Core i7
6x 2GB Corsair DDR3
2x Radeon HD 4890 Overclocked (CrossFire)
Chieftec 1200W Super Series
Windows Home Premium 64-bit
DirectX11

Yeah, I'm also having flickering issues. The following video shows what happens when the area is saturated in "dust". This is the worst of the worst in game...

2x5770 ATI in Crossfire... latest drivers.

Window mode does fix things, but also takes a performance hit due to the fact that it's no longer running in crossfire mode.

Different resolutions and graphics settings did nothing. I also tried various features in CCC (enabling/disabling/etc) to no avail. Hopefully this gets resolved soon as the game is simply unplayable due to the headache induced from the rapid screen flicker.

Well it appears there is a sort of work around. http://www.gamesas.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=11216

About half way down a post by crytukz offers a method that works (I just tried it). Install RadeonPro, create a new profile from your crysis.exe (even steam version), select bioshock profile under tweaks>XFX, right click on the profile name, apply, launch the game like normal.

That method worked for me and others. Hope it helps!

Download the RadeonPro tool see other Forum insane flickering. Then run this tool and create a profile for crysis 2, Use the help agent to create it: I selected the crossfire profile from bioshock, that works, set anti-aliasing to : use application setting, Anisotropic to 8x, vertical sync off, advanced settings texture filtering quality on High Quality, Mipmap Qual. on Hifg Quality.
Any questions?? let me know
