Crysis 2 full game - Nvidia GTX 560TI not supported????

Post » Sun Mar 14, 2010 5:45 pm

Please help. I just loaded my new game and get a "Your video card is not supported" error when I try to load it. I'm running Windows 7 on an Intel E8500 (Asus M/B) machine with an Asus Nvidia GTX 560TI graphics card. The game never loads. Is it true that Crytek doesn't support this mainstream video card??!!!

Try downloading the latest Final Build, maybe there is an error in the lastest drivers that is conflicting with the game. Hence Beta.

Just to let you know, I'm running a 560ti and it's working great. I was having issues running games like STALKER when I first put this card in, and I was able to track the issue back to the drivers not completely removing themselves from my registry. I used a program from guru3d called driver sweeper that cleared all that out after I uninstalled the drivers and re-booted in safe mode. I'm currently running on the latest beta drivers.

Anyway... see if that helps.
