Crysis 2 MP Game Mode Idea

One team would be the aliens and the other team would be CELL soldiers. The aliens are trying to protect something and the CELL soldiers are trying to destroy it. The aliens would not have any nanosuit abilities but the CELL soldiers would. To balance that out, the aliens would have increased health. The time limit would work like BC2 where the attackers have a certain number of respawns and when then run out the aliens would win. And of course if the CELL soldiers complete the objective, the win. Obviously this would work better is there were more than just 12 people in the game. I would say a max around 32.

What do you guys think? Would you play this game mode?

I think 32 or 16 vs 16 is too much but I like the idea of 14 or 7 vs 7. In addition, I think if the aliens should protect 3 things instead of one but the catch is, every 55 seconds only one of them becomes vulnerable during that window of opportunity. This would be to keep the players from just camping in one position and keep the game moving. Or every 80 seconds, one more thing becomes vulnerable to attack. Overall, the things the aliens protect should have their own HP and could probably regenerate some HP back until its venerable again.

but one thing:
are the aliens controlled by AI or players?
like the Dead Space 2 Multiplayer?
i think Crytek dont have the time to make a Flowgraph for Multiplayer AI
but for the PC modding community is this a great idea

Originally I was thinking the aliens would be controlled by people, so you could have the opportunity to play as an alien. AI controlled aliens would not be bad either though.

but there will be a co op mod
we only need the Cryengien 3 Sandbox
Fudsine (will) code the AI
after two years he made a flowgraph for multiplayer AI
for Crysis Wars/ Crysis 1 (focused on Wars)
even with cutsences
but the full maps still not out D:

an Survivor Mod would be great too :) try to stay alive and reach to the end with your team mates and ofc the Aliens would be the enemys, Hard and large levels for survivor Mod :P with many AI enemys .. what is your opinion for this idea ? :)
