Crysis Greatness?

Post » Mon Aug 16, 2010 9:32 pm

The crysis games have always caught my attention because of the point they take with there game. The game to me is like adding halo reach, Call of duty Black ops, Ghost recon future solder, and many other titles you can think of and putting the add up on steroids. I truly believe this game has amazing greatness on the way but also crytek if they keep up what they have done with crysis and crysis warhead which is making the biggest attention getter out on the market. I would love to know what you think.

We/Some of us/All think the same way you do, it's just a matter of our different platforms or play-styles. But good post though :)

But i think what is going to set Crysis apart from the rest of the other games, is going to be the single player by far.

I dont think Crysis 2 will deliver a better and/or more free gameplay than Crysis 1 did.
Crysis 1 is still state of the art and in his best form only achieveable on modern Pcs.
With Crysis 2 they needed to adjust the gameplay for consoles.. so it will definatly not be the same experience as with Crysis 1. But thats what i wanted for C2.... i loved the complexity of the original and im sad that it has been modified to fit on consoles.

Also you compared Crysis to Console( -like) Shooters.
Thats not a good approach for me. Console Shooters are very limited and mostly scripted in terms of gameplay.
Crysis combines all strenghts of the Pc as a platform including wide area levels and therefor multiple choices to paly the game. Not to mention the technical aspect ,,, the Crysisgrfx are still unbeaten in videogames.
Its in the same leage with the half life series. And saying that is a huge huge compliment.

I respect your out look and opinion on this matter but dont think that Crysis 2 is getting consolized. Your acting like most of the idiots complaining about Dragon Age 2 which is getting being tuned and most elitists call it "getting deconsolized."

Also remember the console version is optimized to be efficient on the consoles.

Crysis isnt dead or wont be the "Former AAA game series it was" just because Crytek wants to appeal to a larger audience.

Kudos to Crytek for following this path.

Definitely up with this, as long as Crysis 2 is up with Pc's still. :)
