Crysis 2 movie : Crysis

Am i the only one who thinks that crysis should be made into a movie?. maybe 2 kinda like one part of the story will be about alcatraz or prophet whoever the main character will be in crysis 2 and another half about a couple of civillions trying to esape central station or something. Like cloverfield

- realistic chicks, boobs physics, wet t-shirt shader
- gore, dismemberment, realistic fx
- HD, stable and awesome framerate

then yes, movies will be history. Not a second before.

I would go see a Crysis movie over a Halo movie any day. There's something visceral about the Crysis franchise that makes you feel like your engaged in the game, the graphics obviously attribute to this but I've always felt that the enemies, especially the aliens, in Crysis have sort of a Predator, from AVP, feel to them. This makes the danger more present than when you play as MC in Halo. They could do a lot with this franchise and could probably get a movie out before Halo, the way its going.

If they do make a Crysis movie i hope it stays true to the game and its more about "the suit" and the action then the actor who is in the suit! I honestly do think the movie has a extraordinary potential but also alot of things do, But normally very very poorly executed. So for this reason maybe not a good idea to make a movie and stain Crysis. As a lot of people will have very high expectations as from the games.

Unfortunately I've seen many game-inspired movies ended up in being a bunch of rubbish. So wile I'm afraid of it, I would still love to see it.

Giving a good budget to the right director might work. For me there is just one person for this -- Micheal Bay. If he can approach it the same as with the Transformer movies I think it will be one brilliant movie

Maybe for some games. Not all, some still lack story lines and intrigue.

Bleh, that movie was horrible. It had tons of potential but it didn't fulfill any of it.

Buildings falling down - Check
Kick-ass Protagonist with Overpowered Nanosuit that he uses to punch through walls and throw cars at aliens - Check

That's all they need. Plus maybe Jan favreou can direct, wonder if he'll put himself in Crynet ?
