Crysis 2 Multoplayer Power struggle combine Crysis Wars.

Post » Sun Jul 04, 2010 5:04 pm

I am a huge fan of Crysis and have been following the news for Crysis 2 since I am really impressed with what Crytek has done. I love the new single player and have no doupts it will be either way a great multiplayer because of the ranks ans the customisable but with the nano suit and weapons.

However I still hope they keep the few features which makes Crysis Wars great, Since all maps are based on New York, maybe they could be a balance by adding the whole Power Struggle game mode and maps from Crysis Wars into Crysis 2. If however Crysis 2 power struggle in console cant handle it, at least make it exclusive for the PC so we can still have vehicles and all that good stuff.

What do you think guys?

Unfortunately an official crytek staff member posted on a similar thread saying that they want to crate an equal game play experience through all consoles and PC. So if the consoles cant handle it then we probably wont see it on PC aside form the sandbox editor.

Well, there currently is no news on Power Struggle for Crysis 2, or the Crysis Wars maps getting ported over.

However, Crytek has said that if it can't be done on the Console versions, then it won't be done on the PC. If its not done though, I'm sure that some modders will port over Power Struggle and the Crysis Wars maps over to the CryEngine 3.

Why do you think it isn't possible to add vehicles and all that stuff to consoles?
I mean, look at Bad Company 2.. at least there it's possible.
I do really hope that in Crysis 2 there will be a mode like PowerStruggle was in Crysis 1.

Crytek is choosing not to add vehicles and open maps to the Crysis 2 multiplayer. Its not that they cant... its that they wont.

They claim it will make for a tighter and more team-based experience.
