WHEN I FIRST PLAYED CRYSIS ONLINE IT WAS ON THE BEACH AND LET ME TELL YOU EVEN THOUGH I WAS PLAYING ON MEDIUM GRAPHICS IT WAS BEAUTIFUL AND IT ACTUALLY BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES. IF YOU COULD JUST LET ME KNOW IF THERE WILL BE A BEACH MAP IN CRYSIS 2 MULTIPLAYER THAT WILL JUST BE AWESOME! BUT IF NOT THEN PLEASE CONSIDER BRINGING BACK CRYSIS 1 BEACH MAP OR A REALLY AWESOME NYC BEACH MAP THAT WILL SHOW THE BEAUTY OF CRYENGINE 3. THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

I don't know why people think capslock makes your post more important, IMO it's just annoying to read...

Firstly, I don't think writing in caps will ever get you noticed.

Secondly, it's not about Natural environments as much, but more about NYC as a whole. So I doubt we'll see any beaches in this game.

Lol is your caps lock key broken? I have yet to see a post by you that has a single lowercase letter in it.

Anyway, they have said already that they are moving away from the jungle, and into the city setting. SO I don't think there will be a beach map.

When you see fit to post in a normal font and not ask for excessive attention, then maybe we will read and consider your ideas.

Well.. then I hope they make some maps of other great cities around the world, like Tokyo for exmaple, otherwise that Global Infection thing on the home part of this forum is just useless.

Sure the main setting of Crysis 2 is NYC but that's the single player.

NY is an island... 12 maps total, hoepfully some larger ones that just buildings !

there is no way that we are getting no mod support (knock on wood. also, if that happens ill be forced not to buy this). and since we will be, there is going to be someone to make a beach map. maybe not a giant one, but one nonetheless. crysis fans know their roots, ie one of the best pc games of all time.

are you aware that the font size is terribly **** at a high resolution screen . i cant even see that should be the reason for the caps lock maybe .

font size - thats not a problem, just CTRL + SCROLL IN and you'll zoom in. But seriously CAPSLOCK posts are annoying so @Nano_Mike, please don't post like that and try using punctuation and stuff as well. And try not to address the post straight to particular Crytek members. put your post in a proper format and put them in the Feedback and Suport section if you want them to be answered by Crytek staff. Yeah, I don't think a beach would fit in with the overall setting of NewYork but also with the new gameplay mechanics and stuff. Well, you could mod a beach map and post it on crymod. a beach map will be quite fun though, with vehicles as well.

Not trying to be rude about it, I understand the difficulties of a foreign language.

I really hope that they do not put any beaches in because I think it might ruin it, the game is fricken about NY not the beach!

lots is still to be revealed but as others have mentioned, being set in NY makes the probability of a beach level quite small, but we will have to wait and see.

Please ease off with the caps lock also if you want threads to be taken seriously. I know it's 'cruise control for cool' but is hard to form a serious reply when picturing someone yelling the whole time.

Official maps highly unlikely to have non-city based maps. However it all hinges on what library of objects they will give to people in the sandbox for custom maps. If they include the type of objects the original crysis had, players will be happy, cause at least we can play gorgeous beach/water/tree custom mp maps. so, a chance for crytek to screw it up, or do the right thing

For all you idiots using the excuse that you have to type in caps to see well, hold control, and push the scroll wheel forward...

The game will probably be released with just NYC maps but I hope to see some more types of maps for DLC....... maybe a jungle map?
