This new patch seems to have generated much excitement and true to form Crysis 2 has turned out to be a system killer just like the old Crysis.

1.4 patch has now added even more screen flicker than it had before, now I get big white bars flashing across the menu screens, text turning to purple and in game wild attributes when I land after jumping. If I switch to windowed mode I fix the flicker and frame rates drop by half to 44 fps.

I'm running:
- AMD Phenom II X4 965 (3.4ghz at stock)
- 4gb DDR 3 RAM 1600mhz (7,7,7,20)
- 2tb HDD (2x1tb RAID 0)
- XFX ATi HD6990 (4gb DDR5)

Latest Windows 7 SP1. Latest Catalyst drivers 11.4. Latest CAP updates installed.

Do not you think that patch 1.4 you have done worse? Is it not clear? and so is not who do not use your vote, because it is very crooked working ..

I think we need to wait for the third part of Crysis to see NOMAD again.
I mean - It would be nice if they bring him back so the player could team with him for atleast few episodes. I dont think we will play as nomad again because this would be negation of Crysis 2 story. Hmm or maybe we will play as a nomad and we could meet with the Alcatraz... time will show.

I'm not sure how, I managed to fix the bright flashing bars and now have dark/black patches that appear randomly as I move, these usually flash up covering brighter areas on screen.

We paid almost 70$ for a SICK GAME (on single player) and terrible on multiplayer.

great that u guys disabled using custom textures from crysis 1 (opv1988 texture pack) to enhance the visual quality on pc.now I have to play with vanilla textures again.If this doesnt change with 1.5 Ill reinstall and stay with 1.2.

The stats bug and the disconnect bug aren't gone. Well, great job Crytek! I haven't played Crysis 2 over a month so that the new patch would be released and the bugs would be fixed but it has done nothing.

My game is still version 1.2 and I can`t find the Crysis2Launcher.exe in the binary32 folder.
If I start the Game with the Crysis.exe I can`t log in my gamesas account.
Where do I download the patch ?
I bought the game on steam but there are actually no Downloads available.
Does anybody know how to fix it ?

It looks a lot better than DX9.0c, I'd expect anyways. As for patch 1.4 no issues here, it installed and runs the game dead stable, although I did come across some bugs.
