I love crytek for their honesty saying that it's graphics will be in the top 3 for the consoles. Also xbox 360's top three are in no comparison to ps3's top three: Halo Gears of Honor and um... Fable? vs Uncharted, Killzone, and Metal Gear Solid. So Crysis 2 will be better on the PS3. Also the only reason multi platform games are better for the 360 is because Microsoft pays devs. to use their console as the head platform and then port it to the ps3. I feel that sony offers best band for buck with their systems than the xbox. Also the kinect is going to be more costly as kinect games cost $50 compare to the move's $40. And the perferals for the kinect will make it more pricey than the PlayStation move. $210 with the starter pack an extra move controller and 2 anolog controllers vs. $??? the kinect and all of the perferals for it (a gun, a wheel, a sports stuff, etc...). But in the end the pc stomps all PC = Graphics, options to use different controllers, emulators (wii). The only thing it's missing is ps3 quality games But we do have rts's and Crysis

The PS3 is not that great. The Xbox 360 actually has a better GPU, it just lacks a better CPU to support it, that's why the PS3 can push things a bit more do to its better processor. But for the most part, you will not really be able to tell the difference. Side by side the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will look almost identical. BTW Uncharted and Killzone are not that impressive. I own a PS3, and I was in know way blown away by their console graphics. Gears has just as good graphics as Killzone for the most part.

Please take your **** console wars somewhere else, it's annoying and quite frankly, nobody in their right mind gives a damn about the PS3 or 360 anymore. They're old tech and it's time for a new generation to come.

You were right up until you said what I've copied.

Considering the "old" technology you state the PS3 has, it's even that much more amazing what they are able to put on the screen. Sure, the gimped GPU doesn't help that much, but the talented first party developers (you know, the ones making Uncharted and Killzone which DO look amazing still) can squeeze out pretty amazing graphics...so you don't notice the limited hardware.

Man...I agree that console wars are pointless but your knocking the PS3 as a credible gaming platform uneducated and shortsighted.

It is kinda bad vs. terrible tbh

But the ps3 overall has more horsepower under the hood due to the cell processor. But it's still the equivalent of the mini versus the beetle versus the bugatti veyron

The xbox and ps3 will have tiny graphical differences resulting in one or two textures looking better, or maybe an additional light source every so often on the ps3, with the PC being miles out in front

So avoid a console war, as they're basically the same thing.

PS3 is better but it's not substantial end of story. I bought a 360 because it was cheap and I wanted to play some of the exclusives that are on consoles. I have no reason to argue that the 360 is better.

You cant except the Ps3 because the Cell is still an old Processor and the grfxcard and ram are very very weak, compared to what is standard in Pc gaming nowadays.

PC I agree is infinite. I mean PS3 and 360 can only go so far. But the problem with the PC is the amount of hackers. the PC is so much easier to hack. Dont deny you know it. I love the PC i have Crysis for the PC. But the game lost its touch because of all the hackers. Definitley not the games fault. But if crytek sold crysis 2 for only the PC that would svck. Because how well did crysis do being a gr8 game? ONLY 80,000 copies sold.I am not saying I think that PC or 360 is crap. I love all 3. But i like the PS3 because the lack of hackers, and you dont have to pay for online. Plus I agree when it comes down to it, the graphics dont really differ between PS3 and 360. It really comes down to if you have an HDMI cable. Either way Crysis 2 is probably most likey going to be the best game out on any platform.

The PC gaming platform is far bigger than most people realise. Steam dinged 30 million users last week. Now, that's probably not even a quarter of the PC gaming market, or even a tenth, but that's still more users than xbox live.

What do you mean with "hackers" ?
Do you mean actually people who "hack" internet sites and steal data etc...`?
or do you mean "cracker"s and releasegroups who crack the games and make them playable without the original disc?
Or do you mean "cheaters" people who use forbidden ways to give themselfs advantages in online games?

First: Hackers are out of the question i think...

For crackers: Maybe you didnt know but every console could be "hacked" with a modified firmware so that you can play copys from games. For the 360 "they" wrote a firmware for the DVD-ROM. For the PS3 there is a jailbreak tool that allows you to play isos from the hdd.

You see there is a lot of crime going on.. and if Crytek thought there will be no illegal Copies from the console version, they are horribly wrong!

Cheaters... oh come on... most games on Pc use Punkbuster and i never saw a cheater since Quake 3!

In terms of PS3 vs Xbox, its clearly PS3 is the superior, both its cpu and gpu, albeit a slight margin

Games are required to programmed to utilize both CPU and GPU of the PS3,
unlike xbox, which developers are free to utilize the cpu if they want
for example, PS3 games can use imposters a lot more freely.
Imposters are LOD that uses flat pictures that subtitute 3d objects, kinda like realistic cutboard cut models.Ps3 can put the load of the calculations on the cpu, but xbox cant.and yeah, uncharted 2 and killzone 2 are imposters heavy game.

For graphics, PS3 can be pushed a little bit more due to this fact,
but it also made ports from xbox to ps3 svcks (this is because ps3 SDK came out waaaay late, developers adopted to xbox first)

The best example for a game with intense graphics on both system would be enslaved.(some ppl said its the best graphic for game on xbox)
ps3 handled the game slightly better.

but of course you already know that graphic dont mean ****, halo is a great game.

But game developers like xbox cos they are easier to program, just look at the crysis 2 alpha invite.I dont see ps3 anywhere.and xbox controllers are also useable on the pc.
Every single pc games or multiplatform games are made compatible with the xbox controller, and that just adds the factor that make game developers love xbox more than ps3.

Pc won a long time ago, when nvidia 8series and ati 2k series came out.Heck, its amd 6k series now, how much powerful have current graphic cards become?

I love PC to death and spit upon all else (Not really ), but it's far to easy to get Teh 1337 HAXorz on a PC game.
All that's required is a quick Google search, and the pain and suffering for hundreds of players begins.
I have no idea how this works on consoles.

Oh yes, and piracy would be lower on consoles too. Especially the PS3. Who goes through the effort to download a 25GB or whatever .iso, mod their PS3 (Or whatever the kids do these days), and buy a blu-ray burner?

The Pc is still a "free" platform. It gives u freedom to do what ever u want.
So this freedom can be misused for piracy of course.
But on a console you cant do ****! Youre a slave to its limitations and rules.
Just wait and see.. Soon you will find cheaters on consoles..nothing is impossible and no security from MS or Sony is safe enough not to get passed by somehow.

Yes, the consoles get hacked and are cheated with all the time, although it is admittedly not as rampant.
