absolutely. You should be fine with that laptop. Of course, if you want to play with friends or on a 3d tv, go with the ps3.

Both consoles are worthless bricks nothing beats a PC.

That laptop should max it easily but probably not with AA but thats livable.

The thing is will max graphics on the PC acctually be good as in not console ported? If its ported then every man and his dog will be able to run it. If not that who knows. Max could be twice as hard to run as max on crysis 1 for all we know.

Don't just sell the PS3 you should expose yourself to as many games as possible! Sure PC is slightly better with the more accurate mouse, mod support and other things, but a Ps3 is cheaper to play cause you don't need to upgrade the graphic card. Save up for that Asus and play Crysis 2 on it, but keep the PS3.

I was patient and saved up, now I have an ASUS G73jh (which plays Crysis on high), A PS3, a 360 and a wii. Nice thing is, any game that comes out, I can play or get in on the Beta. Point is, I think you would regret it if you sold the PS3 and it would barely be a down payment on the ASUS anyway.

A couple of things about the ROG G73, it is not a laptop... it's a portable desktop. The thing is a beast. I love it. I cant really take it to school with out feeling a little funny because of its size since most people have mini's and iPads. But it was perfect for our vacation to San Diego in the hotels. I have it anchored to my flat screen using an hdmi out on the rig. It plays whatever. No firewire but I dont use that anyway. If your a console player like me, then your expectations on load and run time are high and the G73 delivers. Hook it up to your TV, get a wireless keybord and wireless mouse (consider the ball type) and you can kick back on your couch and play just like PS3.

Obviously if he is thinking about selling his PS3, he doesn't really play the exclusives on that system. If he wants to play exclusives on the PS3, then he should keep it and save up the extra $200 it'll take to buy it.

But if he asked if he should sell it, i don't think he had exclusives in his mind for reasons to keep it. If he liked the exclusives, he probably wouldn't ask about selling it...
