Sorry if bother you, can you tell me the requeriments for crysis 2 or they are not yet? if they are not yet, what are they waiting for? it's easy get the money for new pc's.

It will probably be an i3 and a 260/460 for Crysis 2, but nothing has been announced yet.

You guys are both wrong... Remember, Crytek said the minimum requirements were lower than Crysis. And a 260 was used in the presentation so... unless you consider it weaker than a 6600gt, I doubt it's minimal xD

do you run crysis with a 6600 gt ? and a 6800 ? maybe am wrong, but crysis runs well from the 8800's, i had a 9800 gt and i played it at 1024*768 high and it look's bad.

I was talking about recommended hardware.

If you can run crysis 1, you can run crysis 2 better according to the devs. So anything like a hd5830/50/70 gtx460/70/80 will blaze through it happily. In terms of processor, quads and above only for great performance.

Something along the line of a phenom II X4/X6 or an i5/i7 will be great for the game.

I have an i5 dual core @ 3.33ghz w/ a GTX 260. With a very high mod and 2xAA, I run crysis @ 30-50fps (never goes below 30, even in combat) average at 40fps @ 1680x1050. Do you think my dual would be good for Crysis 2?

Crysis 2 doesnt look 3x or 4x times better than the first one.
What ive seen so far it has better lights/shadows and slightly better textures.They just optimized the Crengine 2 i think.
Without the consoles Crysis 2 would have run perfectly on the cryengine 2. Its definetly possible i think, with 1 or 2 minor optimizations.
