Crysis 2 review for Xbox 360

This is a review for Crysis 2 for the Xbox 360.

Spoiler
Crysis 2 may seem like just a pretty game to some, but it's so much more then that! It is certainly a pretty game, the visuals and effects are a cut above everything else out right now. Every layer is beautiful, every explosion and bullet fired a work of art, but don't write this game off as just graphics lacking gameplay. Crysis 2 injects a lot of strategy and planning into the regular fps formula. Don't expect a simple point 'n shoot campaign, but instead expect to think about the battle you are about to enter very carefully. Do you activate stealth and silently kill your enemies one by one? Or prefer a more direct approach with maximum armor mode? You can always use a hit 'n run tactic with the power slide ability. Needless to say, a battle is never dull or repetitive in this game. I found myself not minding dieing much because I could try something else when the game loaded up again. There are few games I can say this about. Upgrades and weapon attachments can be changed in real time, for instance - change that under-barrel shotgun to a grenade launcher without pausing the game. The weapons are varied and satisfying, and I couldn't give a favorite because they were all so fun. Now all this polished combat might lead you to think that the story is meh, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. I was literally yelling at my TV at some moments. This is one of the better narratives of the FPS genre. If you haven't played the first game don't worry, they are pretty separate stories. The only thing I didn't test out was the multiplayer, mostly because I couldn't find a single match to play in! It seems that many FPSs (that aren't COD or Halo) can't find a steady multiplayer base. Well based on the campaign (which was a good 15 hours on normal) I thoroughly enjoyed this game. 9.5/10

I think I'm going to be doing reviews regularly, so I would like some criticism on my review style from you guys. Also, you can request a game for me to review and I will gladly oblige!

Ah, I do love that game. I still have about 2 cases left, but I had to return it to blockbuster. :sadvaultboy:

Edit - Oh, and I like your idea to segment the reviews.
