If you do not have or can not
afford a top of the line gaming
machine with the latist graphics
card you can not expect to
properly experience all the
aspects of the crysis game
world

Hi Newave,

Welcome to the forums, could you make sure that your post title explains exactly what is in it as well as giving a bit more information other that what you have written?

Can't find a link to the source at this second but it has been said that if you could run Crysis on Medium then you'll be able to run Crysis 2 on High (or something along those lines)

It is true though, crysis 1 is best experienced in very high mode, I would expect crysis 2 to be no different. This gives the game alot of replay value. Every time you upgrade your PC, you get to see new effects!

My PC is no top of the line deal, but I was more than happy with the way it handled Crysis, and Warhead,
TBH, I can hardly wait for the new release, :-)

Crysis 1, yeparoonee! you definitely needed that gigaballs tri-sli 8800GTX system to max out, but crysis 2 will be maxed out by a £400 system now.

Research. Do some.

Thats because if you research what has been given, Crysis 2 is nothing but a cheap, linear console shooter that has been stripped of all the good PC stuff. Hell, my cheap laptop will probably be able to get 60 FPS on it. You don't get something for nothing. Research. Did it.

Good to hear, but i don't get the passive aggresiveness in your post. Was i saying that crysis 2 will be more demanding and an expansion on the original in terms of scale? nope. Did i day that i would be less demanding? yes.

Nice that you know what's going on, but my post was mainly aimed at the OP, no need to wander along and be all pissy about it :D

This is very true atleast for me. When the MP beta came out i was playingit with a geforce 7600 GT and a couple of months later i bought the 8800 GT to play the demo and the final product. After that bought the GTX 260 along with other stuff much later and finished the game again a couple of times, then 6 months later bought 2 GTX 275 and finished the game again along with Warhead which played it a few times too. :D

Aaah... Good times :)
