They can do something like the "Firefight" or "Invasion" mode from Halo. Let players co-op against the aliens instead of the Covenant(bad guys from Halo). That's would be fun.

It would be cool a survive mode, for example: players need to survive waves and waves of aliens until rescue arrives. That would be nice!

Do a Survival Mode where your barricading your self from Aliens and/or Zombies. Plus you have limited ammo, and have to work your way up for better weapons.

well 4player coop with all those agile aliens jumping around, some pinger levelbosses, 4 people, 4 playstyles, rambo's, cloakers,
it should be awsome to see how the alien AI reacts on 4 different playstyles. besides that, coop is always fun:)

It should be an offensive game-type, you hunt down alien patrols in a free roam area while they attempt to track you or set ambushes for you and your friends, the more patrols you kill the more Alien attention to the area/map with more reinforcements and stronger units.

This keeps going until everyone runs out of ammo or is hunted down and killed.

I think that would be interesting and have lots of possibilities and different tactics players could come up with online as they try to figure out how to kill the most aliens/survive the longest.
