Yea, I refuse to play either of those regurgitated games anymore. I really want this to shine online. But alas the cheaters and lag monsters are making it quite dull.

Me thinks you mean Lag Ops. I still enjoy some CoD from time to time though, but this game has me hooked like Keith Richards on Coke.

Apparently mediocre means games that have decent connections and are at least somewhat fun. I WISH Crysis 2 was mediocre. Alas, it is so far below that.

This game is only mediocre because of the bad netcode, The concepts are great this game just fails mechanically.

I wouldn't say that at all, i think i've experienced problems in only about 5% of my matches, its not nearly as broken as most are saying

The game has seemed to get better for me connection wise...dunno why that is, but I seem to be getting screwed less, maybe I'm just screwing others more haha, anyways I'm pretty hooked on this game, problems or not.

Sadly what many are considering cheating is down to bad lag/host selection isssues, and over kill with aim assist as well as the random nature of damage. I have noticed a big drop off in the amount of friends leaving Crysis to go back to Reach. But that's because they want to play a game where when they shoot someone they die and where you can tell it to look for good connections.

But yes when you shoot people and they don't die, or get killed form a single bullet to the balls while armoured and do not understand the technical side of gaming like networking, open nats and bad game coding, the average casual gamer is gonna feel like the other player is cheating.

Sadly many don't get on forums like these so they have no idea what is going on. They just plug in to their net and play and expect everything to work just fine.

Yea the lag is my only real issue. It doesnt happen every game but it happens enough to be very annoying. For someone who plays on a console to claim theyve never seen bad connections is ridiculous. Ive NEVER seen a room that was all green. usually it goes: host and maybe 1 other full then 5 or 6 yellows and 1 to 4 reds. And how the hell is a troll the one who enjoys the game except for the lag and cheaters? I would say the troll is the one blindly running around claiming to never have complained in his life. And your damn right im complaining about it. I nearly have a T1 connection that I pay dearly for but because of the inept codding it lags.

Yeah the lag is an issue for me too sadly because the game would be far more enjoyable for me if the connection was better. People can say what you like about "lag ops" but i get a far better connection on it than i do on this.

I hear ya. All my friends and myself buy nearly every shooter and try them out. That one lasted a couple weeks for us and by todays standard of, its gold or its ****, that made it a fad in my mind

I actually enjoyed TimeShift a lot, its single player. Too bad we wont see a sequel. Very fun shooter.

And in TimeShifts case, it didn't have a **** grain-glitch!

What are you talking about/to? The problems clearly exist as do they in many games THAT NEVER GET FIXED. I just want them fixed before the mp is dead on consoles. Not to much to DEMAND considering I PAID for this game.
