How many crystals are in the game?

I'm currently at 131, and only need 1 more to buy the last tier 3 ability, so I was wondering if it's 132. Can anyone confirm this? I'm trying to obtain the PS3 trophy 'Crystal Clear', which is the last trophy I need for the game.

Also, the crystal shards that drop from enemies -- that when combined, make full crystals -- stopped dropping for me, even though I was never able to complete the last crystal I was working on (I had 3 shards towards a full one). I think they stopped dropping after I obtained my 131st crystal, which was from a regular crystal container. Is this a bug (shards not dropping anymore when you haven't finished making a full one)?

as i've gone through both the solo campaign (full cleat best of my knowledge, minus a few of each achieve) and multiplayer (co-op with a friend) i can guarantee you are able to get far more than 132 crystals (got bored and decided to old school it this morning, the 32 crystals i had left over from my save actually transferred over as well). the small shards continue to stock up. i would assume the achieve you're talking about ONLY COUNTS the crystals that are already intact, and not the shards. as that's the case, i have no idea. hope you kept track of the jarred crystal count.

Prima's 'official' strategy guide says there's 72 full ones in their 'secrets' section of the guide (which only lists the chapters and section they're in), yet their maps and walkthrough don't account for all of them. Truly a waste of $20 if I've ever seen one.
